Victoria Lewlling (Cherokee Nation Citizen)
Victoria Lewelling is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and the president of University of Arkansas Native American Student Association. She has studied the Cherokee language for two years and is pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design with minors in Indigenous Studies and Art History. She enjoys creating art both digitally and physically. Victoria was born in Oklahoma but spent most of her life growing up in Fort Smith Arkansas before moving to Fayetteville for school. This year she is continuing to learn more culturally and focus on how the Cherokee syllabary might be integrated more thoroughly into both physical and digital platforms to provide new resources, aid, and benefit language beginners.
